Healthy Homemade Ice Cream (No Dairy)
My vanilla ice cream is quick and easy to make. It is the perfect ice cold treat to satisfy your sweet tooth and cool you down especially during summer. What's best is that it does not contain cows milk, refined sugar, corn syrup, malt flavoring, cream, whey, mono and diglycerides, bean gum, guar gum, carrageenan, tara gum, sucralose, cellulose, sorbitol, emulsifiers, artificial colorings or flavorings of any kind.
Vanilla Maca Ice cream, Serves: 1-2
2 large frozen bananas (they should be really ripe when you freeze them)
¼ cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk to get that blender going
1 teaspoon of Maca powder (I use Navitas )
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 pinch of Himalayan crystal salt
Simply combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor, and blend until thick and creamy You may eat as is or you may freeze for 1-2 hours for a "harder" consistency.
** I added dark chocolate chunks and raw vegan cookie dough.
